I entered him in the la sportsman contest and they gross scored him at 160"
Don't really care he was a stud of an 8 point.
If you want to to come score him you're more than welcome.

This deer netted 168". I'm not calling you a liar but these 2 deer are in different classes. LINK

I'm in! The deer in my avatar is 3.5 and will should bust 130 next year but won't shoot him for 2 or 3 years. I've got 2 or 3 others that should bust it too next year.

You do realize that a 168" B&C deer is a lot different than a 160" green gross scored deer. I agree that it does look shy of the 160" mark but the drying period, deducts for non symmetrical points, and two different people scoring them, factor all that in and you can end up with drastically different numbers with similar sized horns.

True, which is why I can see JGT's deer scoring 160" gross

My biggest buck would've scored 150 if the left side matched the right side. But, it didn't so I'm guessing 130ish 10pt.

I was still pumped. Too long ago though.

It's hard for me to see that deer going 160" gross as an 8 but im not one to call anyone a liar just looking at pics when I haven't gotten my hands on that buck.

Out of curiosity what do yall think my 3 deer each score? I'll post the scores after a few guesses?

First one scored right at 149 and some change net (done by a big buck contest). Second scored right at 130 gross (scored by me).

I'm with sonoma8, I hate all of you.

In this "everyone gets a trophy" world, does my 128" beast count? I can round up, right?
