North La, Summerfield, La. Probably 45 minutes north of Ruston, or NW maybe

Anytime you see something like "D's outdoors at it again" in a caption you know there's going to be some serious embellishing going on.

Looks like a 12 plus footer to me. The head is massive and there is 4 for of tail on the ground

There were several 13 plus pulled out of lake Yucatán the last few weeks

I know a few of those folks.

Corney lake is south of Lillie, north of Weldon and northeast of summer field. It’s between hwy 2 (south) and 167 (east), 79 (west) and bethel church rd (north)

Good. frick them lizards. Too many of them around IMO. Hide prices are in the shitter especially for wild gators. They’re far too common nowadays and a culling needs to happen.

They get harvested on my place whether it’s gator season or not.

There used to be a hatchery around Vienna that the federal government subsidized to get the gator numbers up. After the federal money ran out, they let everything they had loose. It wasn't too far from the creeks that run south from D'Arbonne. Maybe 15 years ago, my dad took me up to where it had been and showed me eight or ten gators in, and around, some guys cow pond. We had to wait for a seven footer to cross the road getting there. My dad told me they were going to head up the luter to the lake. Little Corney Bayou feeds into D'Arbonne. Guess they could have kept going north.

I have hunted there a long time. Not many people go there, not surprised by this.
