Back at it in a box stand in some young pine growth with a foodplot. Big old buck on camera but all night time. Who knows.

So weirdest thing happened when I was getting down this morning. As I was walking out I heard a shreek and a crash. I look up and see a squirrel falling out of a little tree. So I assume a hawk got it. Nope. Put up my binoculars and see a bobcat in the tree. Never seen that before. Didn't have time to get the camera out and video unfortunately

I'm in a ladder in a oak flat. It's a travel spot between thicker woods and a foodplot.

I've been in the woods today for all but between 11 and 12:30 for lunch and bowel movement. I saw one deer right at daylight and was not able to see what it was. I just moved to a box stand in a line thicket until dark. Movement is absolutely terrible so far this season.

Don't know why everyone wants winds to be calm. I know it's "better" but deer still move. This was killed yesterday at noon and it was blowing 20 mph all day.

I know they move but that wind made it freaking cold today. I'm pretty much deaf and I cant hear crap when the wind is blowing.
