4.5" Wüsthof hearing knife cutting up a banana.

Wish I could have hunted Tuesday and Wednesday. This warm weather is not inviting.

Good luck today hunters

Got up to move the Elf and make some coffee.
Gonna help my wife get Christmas stuff ready today and we go to her grandmas for a lunch. Luckily it’s only a 1/2 mile down the road.
Good luck to those hunting and Merry Christmas to all.

Our rut typically starts between Christmas and New Years, so what do we get all next week? Record highs and rain.

My buddy posted one from down below Houma he took this week. Someone has been lying to me about swamp deer being small all my life, this thing was a giant.

Good luck guys and be safe.

In bed with the CCP special, with the forecast not sure when I will hit the stand again. Probably going to hit the marsh for specks and reds.

Went duck hunting yesterday by Pointe-a-la-Hache. Wrong sport. Should have been fishing.

Ladder stand just off hardwood bottom
7mm-08

Bright moon, warm weather, breezy swirling wind I didn’t expect to see much. 2 spikes and a button in here feeding for 40 min so far.

Richland Parish. 57 and the south wind blowing like hell. Sounded like I ran off the whole damn heard climbing my stand this morning. None have returned so far. Trying like hell to stock the freezer. Starting to think I’m a gatherer not a hunter

Will the mosquitoes and gnats hatch next week?
I’ll be back in Woodville….
Thermocell check is a good idea.

It’s all Biden’s fault!
