Hunted my folding chair on scrape and rub line this morning. Scrapes big like car hoods....no action.

Just climbed up tree overlooking hardwood ridge and pine thinning riddled with scrapes and rubs. Will sit here until dark.

The minute I looked up from getting situated a small buck was trailing a doe across the ridge

Feliciana, I would have had to use the truck pistol in that case or get back in bed like jwal said haha

I'm about 14 miles north of Liberty if you turn by the furniture store. We went to Brookhaven earlier and had to stop twice to let deer cross the road. They are definitely up moving today.I will be in a stand this evening as soon as we finish Christmas shopping. I hunted yesterday evening and only saw a doe and yearling.

Trying a new set up this evening. Have two small ponds on the lease, a small road runs down the side of the bigger of the two ponds. I threw my ground blind down and I'm on the small road looking across the pond to a deer trail and down the lane. Last year a 10-12 point that's never been seen out here snuck up on me and ran past before I could say "holy shite" - won't happen again. Hopefully there are some thirsty deer today. Good luck fellas and be safe.

Porta potty house over looking plot that hasn't sprouted thanks to the drought, but have been corning, tracks everywhere.

Was going to hunt a ladder stand in an area I've been corning. Came up early & checked camera. 883 pics, approx 875 were of a nightly 'coon party.

Good luck.

Unbelievably quiet afternoon. And if I breathe too hard this Stand makes a noise.
