I do to. They give a reason why? That side is much more stable habitat wise, you'd think it would be the control group.

Me and a coworker also!
He went to break in his motor Sunday so he had a bunch of water eliminated already. That's all we could come up with too. Haven't heard much out of Crackerhead/Alcide area.

after staring at the pic, this pic doesn't do this fish justice, i hope they took more...they also called wildlife and fisheries who weighed and measured it and they let it go where it was caught

I seen't it. Bass central has a pic, which came from someone's FB. Last time I did that shite, I had people texting me from Cali, FL, NY and area codes I don't recognize. F that.

When Andrew hit the Verret Area it put a huge dent in the fish population. That was really the knockout punch and Verret has never fully recovered from it.
We have owned a place on verret since the early 80's and I can say it was one of the best fisheries I have seen.
Everytime it starts to get decent another storm rolls in and knocks it back another 5 years it seems like.
