Buying my uncle's 10/22. It's wood/SS. Planningto make it a plinker but not gonna break the bank. Just picked up a Simmons .22 mag 3-9x32 for it. It was cheap as hell (54 bucks) but I just need to see the target in good light, right? Anyone had any experience with this scope? I can always take it back if its a POS. Looking to get a green mountain .920 bull barrel for it and a trigger job for starters. If I really enjoy it, I might invest in some other parts. Anyone like/hate GM for the price?

If you get the barrel you will need a new stock. The Hogue is good and inexpensive.

I've been looking at those as well. I like the feel but not the look of the hogue rubber. I have it on my gp100. Might get a laminate thumb hole. I wish I could shoot with them all.

I had that same scope, never had issues with it. I'm about to get a green hogue stock with a fluted bull barrel
