Fished there the other day didn't see a duck and you leave your decoys out on public? Where are your blinds at?

Didn't see one duck in Yocum Bay or from Six-mile all the way to the Indian mounds, fished dawn to dusk, funny.

We got all three blinds freshly brushed and ready to put out about 10 dozen decoy's at each one on Friday.

Blinds have always been tough to get birds close on Toledo and good luck seeing your decoys again leaving them out all season.

I've fished and hunted it for 40 years. Where is your blind in Yocum on the north or south bank, how far past bird island, I be through there soon!

never really had an issue with decoy theft...have caught folks sneaking into our blinds before....more come loose from the bottom and float off than we have had stolen.

This topic pops up from time to time, but those blinds on public lands are legal to hunt for anyone who shows up before you get there. I still don't believe you kill lots of quality birds out of blinds on that lake. I know plenty who hunt there and struggle often with the people, lack of ducks, and fact that you are hard pressed to kill out of blinds. The key to Toledo was always to scout hard and pattern birds because they were going to follow the coots and the food. Guys I knew who did the best out there even used float tubes to hunt sometimes.

I don't think there is any reason to doubt obc. Man knows his business. If he's half as good at killing ducks as he is squirrels, there isn't a safe bird in the sky.

Just look at the carnage...
