Yeah i was on the ladder stand this morn..not too bad though with my bib and insulated jacket..and jeans and a fleece haha

High 40s with a good wind from the NW

This is the only stand I have seen deer during gun season. Trying some hot doe estrus even though the rut here is long over. Deer are tearing up my corn but every trail cam pic is at night.

Wind getting stronger by the minute......but in our favor.

Just getting to the stand, about to lose service on the walk down. Saw a big 8 pt in the middle of Pickneyville road on the drive in, hoping they're moving around here today.

Back on stand. The wind is blowing like a mother fricker so I got in a box stand. I walked a drag trail up and down the lane I'm hunting so Im hoping a big boy comes out flying the red rocket and looking for a friend.

Don't expect to shoot today. This is more of a it's been too wet to get here the last month and I want to know what's coming to these wheat fields type hunt. Don't even have any stands. Just sitting by a gate.
