They are hooking up lines for the top kill. Those are the lines that will carry mud to the BOP.

Sorry after watching it a bit. I really think they are adjusting the a coupling that controls the angle of the riser insertion tube.
You can see as they adjust the angle more or less oil and gas are coming out of the riser .

seems to be some mud in the flow. I guess they are still testing the mud flow into BOP. When plume changes to full grey you will know top kill has begun in full.
