What are some of the more ridiculous cleanup methods yall have heard of? Supposedly hair has been suggested?

Something that doesn't work but costs money to implement is worse than nothing. Just ask BP execs whose competence is questioned.

Heard someone call in and get fighter jets to blow the oil away from the marsh. It was on wwl a few weeks back.

Kevin Costner gave $26 mil. to researchers to develop a method of seperating oil & water after the Valdez accident.

I read that it is being utilized in the clean up efforts.
