I guess they were done making money off the adopted child and he no longer brought value to their show.

YouTuber Myka Stauffer and her husband James have announced that they have decided to "rehome" their son Huxley, who they adopted nearly three years ago from China.
Myka and James said that they weren't aware of what it would be like to take care of Huxley, who has autism.
"Once Huxley came home, there was a lot more special needs that we weren't aware of, and that we were not told," James said in a video shared on Tuesday.

I hate it when these people say garbage like this. They broadcast their lives to the world for money, but the minute they do something shitty, it's "respect our privacy".

First off, frick them.
Second...I can’t imagine what it would be like to adopt someone with special needs. My wife is interested in adopting, but I just don’t know if I am mature enough to handle it.
Some friends of ours adopted a boy who has some severe psychological issues. Oppositional defiance is the most glaring issue. He can be extremely violent and has harmed their two biological children in the past. They’re spending a ton of money on his therapy and most of their attention is on him.
How can you possibly avoid the thought that the adopted kid is not really yours? That has to pop up, right? It truly takes a special person to devote themselves to that kind of life, and it’s why I can’t see myself ever adopting.
