Youth soccer parents...Midnight in Mandeville?

What's the deal with this? Games after 8 and 9 pm...this place more lit up than just the field of play?
Have hall pass for the LSU game, but otherwise...weekend on the Northshore. Last weekend was Raceland, so we're moving up.

Not super lit up. The kids like it. They paint their hair and stuff. Some Halloween decorations around the park.
People working concessions are dressed for Halloween.
Nothing real different other than game as 11:00pm

The games are all day and evening. I don't remember many games late at night. A lot of the kids paint their faces and spray paint their hair.

A youth soccer tournament is played at night, Fidays included, in Mandeville. Usually games are early as frick on the weekends so this is bizarre. Just pinging the Northshore folk for info.
They dress up in costumes and all sorts of stuff I've never seen for club soccer.

Not everyone plays Friday night. The teams that don't will play early Saturday

Yes. We've played in it a few times. U8-U13. Won it a couple times. He's not playing this year. Decided to play football and concentrate on baseball.

We expect to get a bit beat up on. My boy played the better teams in BR two weeks ago and they won the U11s, but he was guest playing on a better team. The team they faced in the finals is first up for them tomorrow...he played defense the whole game as a guest player, but for tomorrow he's forward and center mid. I asked how many goals it'll take for the win, he said 6. They held them scoreless in BR, so his confidence in his team isn't high. Just hopes he fights hard.
