2. Lincoln- Obvious top three as well except for slavery loving Confederate sympathizers.
3. Hamilton- Unexpected pick here, but was creator of our financial system that stabilized the country and the implementation of his philosophies allowed us to be an American power. Also an example of "The American Dream", was an orphaned boy living on the street who emigrated to America. From nothing his brilliance and industry propelled him to fame. Not to mention he was a brave Revolutionary soldier who led a charge at Yorktown and was also Washington's aide-de-camp.
