They’re putting a B&N in the old Pier 1 in Kalispell (MT). There used to be a Borders in town but it closed about a decade ago.

With that said, I prefer local book stores.

for those that enjoy a good book store, there is a family book store in the antique village. Owned by a husband/wife who have a great passion for reading and are knowledgable in most genres and can actually help you out when looking for something. Hope B&N coming doesn't hurt them.

The B&N's in Baton Rouge aren't busy as they once were but they still have a consistent clientele. My gf and my daughter(she's 16 ya pervs) go to both locations in BR probably 7-8 times a year, buying shite every time.

The one on Corporate is an excellent place to shop for Christmas or birthday gifts for kids.

I do too, but they are few and far between these days.

I can't really see a bookstore as a good idea in Livingston parish...

I’m just glad businesses are opening in Juban Crossing. I’d say the vacancy rate is ballpark, 30-40%.

That said. Someone needs to open a fricking what a burger there. It would clean up.

The discount section is where it's at. I've scored a lot of good books from there over the years. It's always a treat to see what they have on deep discount.

They've done a good job refreshing their stores and changing the vibe.

All they need now is a popeyes, Albasha, and a Best Buy and LP would be set.

Yep. They'd do very well in that area.

So would In N Out. I'd say Chick Fil A but they have one over on Range already.

coffee

In the early eighties coffee consumption was plummeting so badly that he coffee growers instituted a lame ad campaign trying to make it hip and trendy to young people. Nowadays you can't go out in public without tripping over a zoomer with with the caffeine jitters.
