It makes me sad.

I doubt that even those who say they think it is "just fine" would want the U.S. to do that. It is hyperbole - a response to the softness that they see in our society.

I hope you're right. I find people now seem to rarely ponder consequences until after the fact.

I am in favor of our constitutional prohibition against cruel and unusual punishment, but clearly this would have some deterrence effect.

Damn. That’s harsh but in a great sort of way.

I have to think once the next aloha snack bar candidate sees this they will ask to be on the squad that attacks America.

Gitmo is a day at the beach compared to having your balls jump started.

Russia has evidently leaked some video of them using enhanced interrogation tactics. They cut off a dudes ear and made him eat it. They shocked another dudes balls.

This is what I’m talking about. Exactly what needs to happen to these awful people. Wish the US would do similar.

It's almost like some of yall aren't old enough to remember Abu Ghraib, Guantanamo Bay and CIA Black sites that existed (more than likely still out there) like in Zero Dark Thirty. America is certainly not above getting down and dirty with terrorists.

The US military thinks Russia's little TikTok video is kinda cute.

No I’d put the odds at 95% these guys aren’t the terrorists.

You have multiple videos of the attacks from different angles of the guys. It's not like they were trying to hide their identities.

Then you have multiple videos of the exact same dudes getting caught and tortured mere hours later.

There is no conspiracy to be had here. It's the same guys.

Exactly what I was thinking. Either they’re 13 or retarded.

Edit: also if you think any of this is deterrence, you don’t know much about ISIS

I still can’t believe the maximum penalty in Russia is life in prison. Would have bet that execution was legal

How did some dudes shoot up a theater in downtown Moscow for a long enough time to shoot like 300 people, who all presumably have cell phones to call police, then walk out of the place, get into a car, then drive 500 miles before being arrested?

Russia is a police state. If you hold up a blank piece of cardboard in Red Square a group of police will surround you. Yet police didn’t surround the theater where mass murder was taking place casually and apparently live on video?

None of this seems remotely credible.
