They make a decent product, but anyone who puts a sticker on their truck or wears a hat is a huge douche

Are you really judging people based on what kind of cooler/cups they buy?

And yet some men give women crap for using items such as purses and brand of work out wear as status symbols?

I have 3 Yeti coolers, 6 Yeti cups, and even the Yeti soft-cooler.

My parents gave me a Yeti tumbler and I made iced coffee with it at 7 a.m. and there was still ice in it when I cleaned it out after midnight.

I hope you camp often. But even for that, there are plenty of other, more practical coolers for camping that will be just as good.

I received a big tumbler for Christmas. It looks like there's no way to close the hole that you drink from. Everything feels really solid but it's hard to believe they'd leave that hole open and give heat an easy way to escape. Maybe mine's missing a part like a separate lid?

Try the Rtic brand....suppose to be just as good but half the price. They also make a tumbler now.

Those coolers seemed pretty heavy and they don't have wheels on them. Makes it seem more cumbersome for car camping imo.

But you are right.....there are much more practical (and much cheaper) options out there.

It is pretty damn funny that Yeti has become the Redneck Status Symbol. It is the Apple and Beats of outdoor products.

Good products but WAY overpriced

They have better (or probably as good) options now.

When I bought the first Yeti, I don't recall many other extreme-type coolers out there.

It came with a free hat and sticker. I remember thinking, "WTF do I want a cooler sticker for?".

Bought the first two many years ago and was real happy with the product. They seemed way more durable than the Colemans and Igloos I had been using.

Now I guess they are a status deal, I was just giving the OP some crap.

The cups are pretty awesome though.

I have a Yeti for if I actually need it but I have a larger Coleman that I like a lot more. If you load that thing up and keep it latched most of the time, the ice will not melt. I've even had it where instead of melting, it just made a thicker block of ice after hours.

Got it about 5-6 years ago and still works better than any other I've had.

I'm sure the tumblers are nice, just seems crazy to spend $40 on something that can be replicated by a $20 product.

You can buy Contigo brand water/coffee tumblers for around $20 that will keep your drink hot/cold for several hours. My Contigo water bottle keeps ice solid my entire 12 hour shift at work and then several hours later.

Errybody says how they keep things cold, how are they with hot items like coffee?

I'm a big coffee drinker.
