2013 Land Rover LR4 vs 2015 Chevy Tahoe. Identical price, mileage and most features. ????

Which passenger seat is most comfy? My driver will be doing the mundane skill of operating the vehicle.

Tahoe all day. Not messing with Rover quality issues, although they seem to be trending up. Ask again in a couple years, and I may have a different answer.

Tahoe over the LR, but both will break down after 100k.(maybe sooner for the LR).

Please. There are so many Tahoes/Suburbans/Yukons with several hundred thousand miles on them.

eta: Not sure who's downvoting, but yall are ignorant. There are likely hundreds of thousands of GM SUVs with well over 100k miles.

Tahoe

LR4's are nice, but surprisingly utilitarian and I'd be wary of a used one, though I think it'd be fine. Just expensive if anything does break though.

As a daily driver? Tahoe.

As a 3rd vehicle? Maybe the Rover if you really want one and willing to put up with it.

Bull shift. The Land Rover's quality is questionable. The Tahoe is solid.

There was a guy in another car thread last week that said it cost him 13K to replace the transmission in his Land Rover

Clearly you've never owner either of them. Hell my last Tahoe I put a 160k miles on it and never had one issue. Currently have a suburban with 150k on it clock and its just been basic maintenance.

Im in the business, Tahoe all day long. Friend of family had Land Rover, always in the shop and always expensive/long timeframe repairs. She finally traded in on Highlander, but after $4600 in repairs over the last year (that was just to get thing running, the 'suggested' repairs would have put her over $6k easily).

Tahoe. Maintenance costs are the Tahoe's biggest advantage.

Had a 2015 Tahoe for work. They're legit.

Tahoe... Nice features and easier to service due to part availability and price...
