If you tell her to GTFO and she refuses, can you consider her an intruder and put a couple of rounds in her grape?

Kind of is putting it mildly, IMO.

Yeah, just how stupid are these people really? It boggles my mind people wouldn't protect themselves in such an intimate business venture dealing with their most vulnerable and valued assets.

Well, it looks like they didn't check out this person very well before hiring her to watch their kids and live in their home

1. Buy a throwdown piece
2. Shoot Nanny
3. Call police and say she was attacking with throwdown piece
4. Profit.

No
They have to evict her legally just like she was a renter. 30 days notice then at the end of the 30 days a cop comes and puts her shite on the street and sends her packing. If she comes back after that she is trespassing and can be arrested.

Yeah that crazy bitch has already sued people like 36 other times(per the article).
Posted on 6/26/14 at 9:50 pm to lsunurse
Yea which is bad for her. She is on the list of frequent frivolous lawsuit filers in Cali. They have nothing legally to worry about I bet. They just need to make sure they do the eviction the legal way as not to give her any ammo.

I mean, her actions are not of a sane person. They have kids in their home to worry about. Wouldn't it be a quicker process since it's their own property they are evicting her from and not some rental property. Couldn't they claim they fear for their children's safety?
Posted on 6/26/14 at 9:57 pm to lsunurse
She would have a bad accident if it was me. Sometimes people slip on toys and roll down the stairs and die.
Posted on 6/26/14 at 9:57 pm to lsunurse
Sure but even that would have a legal process. It's a fricked up situation for sure.
The quickest and most efficient way is the 30 days notice I imagine.
Not sure why they have waited this long to do it though.

Then she would sue them for that. And for that one....their homeowner's policy may be forced to pay.
Don't you watch the Allstate Mayhem commercials?

How stupid is this family for not conducting a background check on this lady??
Also, pretty sure ol lady will lose due to her history with suing for everything.

Which is even worse -- have these people not heard of background checks? Seems like even a simple Google search would have sniffed this woman out before they hired her.

That's what I don't get. I understand the law is weirdly worded and they have to follow the eviction process, but there's no way in hell that bitch would be eating my food, using my wifi, watching my TV or sleeping in a bed that I purchased. That they CAN control. They could put locks on the fridge and pantry, etc.

Could they file a restraining order against her too?

I would invite a homeless man to share her room, I mean my room she is sleeping in.
Are you under the impression the homeless person would be more eager to leave? Or do you just enjoy sitcom style hijinx?
Sounds like a recipe to house more people not less

California has some seriously fricked up landlord and residency laws. To get her properly evicted could take months. In Louisiana you could toss that bitch out in a heartbeat.
Posted on 6/26/14 at 11:32 pm to bradwieser
Aren't all of the bills in their names? Why wouldn't they just cut everything off and change the locks when she finally decided to leave?
Posted on 6/26/14 at 11:37 pm to AUCE05
There's a million ways to get her out. The family must just be pussies.

Yeah, we already know that this a family of idiots that wasn't aware that Google is a thing so I'm skeptical that they fully know their rights.
This isn't a person squatting in a rental apartment; she's in their house. Methinks the 30 day rule isn't so cut and dried on that matter.
If nothing else, she'd be getting charged with stealing my food.
