The only true wrestling was Mid South Wrestling. The rest is junk. Now Mid South, that shite was real. Hacksaw Butch Reed, Hacksaw Jim Duggan, JYD, Jimmy Cornett and the Midnight Express, Dr Death Steve Williams, Colonel Buck Robley,,, these dudes wrestled for real and would frick somebody up to get that coal miners glove.

not sure if its been mentioned, but the trending comments on facebook are comical.

quote:

WWE just wants a reason to get rid of a future black Superstar....he should jus quit he's not gonna get the push he deserves and even if he does he's gonna end up looking like the New Day or just be stereotyped like most of the black wrestlers before him...and Vince wtf are you still doing in the business...RETIRE you've done your deeds now its a new generation which you refuse to acknowledge but your doing the same shite...maybe I need to start an all black wrestling promotion

So, maybe, Sir Vince may want to stop writing himself (or allowing himself to be written) into the script IF he doesn't want to be considered as "one of the boys," by HIIIIISSS superstars. I've been having a serious problem, for a while now, by how black superstars are portrayed by the federation...*rolls eyes*.... Majority of the time, their skits cause them to have to "shuck and jive," have one good (not great) moment to appease...then back to shucking and jiving it is. In order to negate this argument (no, not mines personally. But, from it being said in general) maybe 10% of white superstars are made to appear completely freaking ridiculous....What? Stardust, Gold dust, and 1 or 2 more: Compare to, AT LEAST, 90% of the minority superstars (in which almost 100% of those being black).....ugh, I lost the taste for WWE some time ago.

Yeah, they do. 300+ days a year at that.

I really do understand why non wrestling fans think it's silly but most wrestling fans have that love of it so much that they never grew out of it as an adult.

I'm glad I still love wrestling, it's one part of my childhood that I never lost and I will always be unapologetic for it.

Same here.

I dont think wrestling will ever be able to top the pure awesomeness of the 90s. NWO v WCW and the wolfpack. Once the WWF was formed it was still awesome with Stone Cold, DX, The Rock, and the Undertaker/ Kane/ McMahon feud.

I don't watch wrestling anymore, but are you saying the WWF was formed after WCW? WWF was around way before WCW and was massively popular all the way back to early 80s.
