I missed the part that was funny, but after the sweeping generalization in your last post, I'm not expecting much.

The first thing I thought when I saw that video was, what on Earth was going through Tyrus's mind to think that it would be a good idea for any reason to grab Vince's arm at that particular point in time?

Are you a fan? No, I'm guessing. So you don't see. I'm not a fan of Nascar but I don't sit and question people's love of the sport.

In my experience, people who watch WWE style wrestling are some of the corniest people out there. Not saying all but that's seriously what I've noticed.

What does a corny person act like?

I do. There's nothing wrong with questioning why someone likes something you don't.

Yes there is...they are who they are, you are who you are. You don't like it, fine, carry on. Why do you feel the need to be vocal about it? We get it, you don't like it. Move on.

Why do people who don't like or watch wrestling post in wrestling threads?

Because like all humans, they like to point their finger at someone and wave it.

Pro Wrestling isn't real-in the sense that it's a serious athletic competition I think that's something most folks understand. But this whole narrative dismissing it and bashing guys because they watch it I think is a little shortsighted also, WWE has a lot of millions who tune in. It does have genuine entertainment to it, it's a live drama and athletic exhibition it requires Practice and timing.

That said who knows what really happened with Titus backstage the dirt sheets tend to get into hearsay at times.

Owen Hart says otherwise.

So does Mic Foley.

Professional Wrestling used to be predetermined, sure, as it is now, but the athletes put it all on the line. They lived and breathed their characters and they broke their bodies for the entertainment.

No one in the wrestling world today or in the last 10 years would have the balls to do some of the things the greats used to do.

Vince McMahon shite all over professional wrestling and it sucks. The attitude era was amazing, but after McMahon had complete control, for wahtever reason, he continually shifted wrestling away from its story lines and its shows of athletic feats to dumb bullshite.

I dont think wrestling will ever be able to top the pure awesomeness of the 90s. NWO v WCW and the wolfpack. Once the WWF was formed it was still awesome with Stone Cold, DX, The Rock, and the Undertaker/ Kane/ McMahon feud.

Today its all talk and gimics. I doubt anyone wrestling today would have the nuts to get chokeslammed off a cage through a table onto a pile of thumbtacs.

Yeah, they do. 300+ days a year at that.

I really do understand why non wrestling fans think it's silly but most wrestling fans have that love of it so much that they never grew out of it as an adult.

I'm glad I still love wrestling, it's one part of my childhood that I never lost and I will always be unapologetic for it.

Real in what sense? It's pre-determined choreography that takes tremendous athleticism to pull off. It's no different than a pro athlete keeping his body in top shape. The exception is these guys travel 300 days a year and their "sport" doesn't have an offseason.

It's theatrical entertainment that's been a part of our culture for nearly a century. I can see how some people aren't interested in it, but to belittle those who do enjoy it as an entertainment product just shows your insecurities.

I really don't care if someone else thinks I'm "corny" or not. Liking wrestling isn't any cornier than watching any of the other bullshite rubbish they call TV shows nowadays. I've been watching wrestling for 30+ years and I'm not about to stop now (although I do admit the product is sorely lacking right now...)
