I'll be honest. I've fast forwarded through raw for the last couple of months. The fact that they've got divas in a cell match is a glaring example of how bad off WWE is right now and how badly they need to drop these gimmick ppvs. They're going to come off this one and have to book Survivor Series - I have no clue how they're going to pull that off.

I don't know if he could win in the UFC anymore, and he'd have to win. He is a name, I remember when he started WWE wrestling he wad like 24, too bad his MMA career didn't start then instead.

I don't know if he could beat the top guys to make top money there.

He already did beat them, he won the title and had a successful defense. Win-or-lose wouldn't matter THAT much at first. He would get a minimum of 3 mil a fight for his first 2 fights. If he lost them both his PPV #s would drop a lot but if he won them both and the 3rd fight was with Cain, assuming he was still champ and hadn't lost between now and then, he would earn 5+mil EASY on that fight!

Worst case if he came back for 2-3 fights he would make 6-7 million. If he lost them all or didn't like it the WWE would be waiting with open arms. Best case is he wins them and going forward he earns 5 mil a fight.

He hasn't beaten the best there. His most impressive victory came against Shane. When a lot of people counted him out. He won the belt quickly.

Cain and Alistair Overeem smoked him. He hasn't beaten the best in the UFC.

He's doing what he should do, retire and still get to appear as a badass on tv. Close to 40 now etc

I watch it every Monday, sometimes I'm into it, other times it's basically something to glance at in the background. Depends on the storyline I guess. My son loves it now, so it's our bonding thing at the moment. Wrestlemania in the Dome was awesome and one of the best live events I've ever seen though.

He beat the best AT THE TIME. He beat the champ and then had a title defense, like I said. By the time he fought Cain and Reem he was a VERY sick man.

All of that is really irrelevant though, its all about $ and he can make more there over the next 2 years, win or lose, than he can in WWE and WWE will always be waiting.

I'm honestly surprised that we don't see more top MMA fighters with major endorsements. I don't know if it's a clause in the UFC contract or something.

How many brands you know want to be associated with bloodsport that represents a drop in the bucket of their market? The risk just doesn't make sense.

UfC is a multi billion dollar business. The athletes are respected worldwide. Guys like Mike Tyson and Ali in boxing did well.

I mean, its not like it's the kumite.

Most of the top fighters have major endorsement deals but thats just a drop in the bucket for them. The big $ is in the Main Event PPV shares, especially if you bring in #s like Brock or GSP.

Huge fan of the WWE, always will be. It's not as good and wild and crazy as it once was, but 2014 is much different than 1999. Got to go with the times.. They're going through somewhat of a transitional phase, and when you follow the entire product and not just the main event scene , it's still good. They always have crappy product this time of year anyway, because of Monday Night Football.

Ambrose is cutting great promos. Like Wyatt, you can not script the kinda of shite he says. It is the same promo style he used in the indies. Lana is great at getting heat, granted her gimmick is a natural heat seeking missle. I think Seth is doing a fine job cutting promos.

i checked out on wrestling big time when they came up with The Ministry in the WWE.

The Undertaker was always my favorite but that was the dumbest angle of all time.

i did like the hardcore title though.

the tables, ladders, and chairs matches usually kicked arse.

Mankind/HHH at Summerslam in 1997 was another favortie. I think Foley really brought in the no holds barred type of atttiude to the WWE. He was fricking awesome because he always sold out the hardest.

Tough son of a bitch

Its pretty amazing how in the 90's wrestling got higher ratings then Monday Night Football. If they keep pussifying football people might turn back to wrestling before you know it.

What wwe is lacking is variety and individuality in the wrestlers. Nine out of ten are almost cookie cutters of each other. Wrestlers used to be over the top personas, Andre, Flair, Undertaker, Sting, Dusty Rhodes, The Rock, Austin, Hogan etc. Now They have Wyatt and a few others, but that's it. Just my two cents.

not gonna read - stopped watching raslin' when Bruiser Bob Sweetan and Dirty Dick Murdock was caught in a three way with Dusty "American Dream" Rhodes at the Alamo Plaza motel on FLa. Blvd - my heart still bleeds over this.

The problem w/ WWE is that they don't have any bonafide megastars, no larger-than-life characters that fans want to see. I understand what they're doing w/ Brock -- trying to make any appearance he makes into a big deal -- and I know that it's only temporary. Unfortunately, I think their plan to push Roman Reigns to the moon will backfire because he's simply not that good. The only guy in NXT who I really see as a possible breakout is Finn Balor -- he has the unique look w/ the bodypaint that has never been seen before. He has the coolness factor that both kids and adults will like, plus the good looks that will make the females' panties moist.
