WTF is going on with all these earthquakes

I am getting an uneasy feeling about this and I am the freaking Nostradamus on steroids when it comes to people dying and bad shite happening. (I dream you die, 100% chance so far of you dying with 30 days.)
Somebody, maybe a geologist or someone familiar with all this please provide some rational explanation for what is going on and why it is no big deal.
