That being said, it's better than a lifelong disfigurement.
I mean, someone who doesn't know how to defend in the ring could very well end up with permanent brain damage from Tyson in his prime. Maybe not "vegetative state" kind of brain damage, but it could have permanent ramifications on motor skills or brain function if you took one of his hooks straight to the noggin.

I think the consensus is that anyone who actually ended up with this ultimatum is completely fricked either way

If it's normal boxing, i'll take the boxing match.
If he can keep hitting me after i'm down, he'll quite possibly kill me, guess i'll be a funny talking dude with a tat on my face, beats death....I think?
