Would you rather go to a state school or a small private school?

Big state schools like LSU have more to do, better sports, and tailgating. Theyre also cheaper. But its easier to meet people and be the "big man on campus" in a small school like Tulane or Rice. Has anyone gone to both? Whats the party scene like?

Its easier to get "lost" in the crowd or feel insignificant at LSU. And I heard you can party just as much at places like Tulane or Hendrix.

It really matters where the schools are located IMO.

I shouldn't have gone to LSU. I love the football, food, and women, but I feel Id thrive in a smaller campus. I hate the stadium classrooms with 400 students. And believe it or not, its easier to get laid in small colleges. less competition. Easier to meet people too.

I know a guy who had a golf scholarship there and hated it. Conway is a great town but not a great college town imo

I would kill myself if I went somewhere like Millsaps or Centenary.
