Her being a teacher would not be a factor in choosing marriage potential.

Rocket, is there any profession you have found more tolerable than others? My experience is:

- Doctors/lawyers -- forget it. I know one or two guys who hit the jackpot there, but for the most part you're with a super motivated egomaniac narcissist and you're going to be a cuck.

- The smart women I know in generic corporate America jobs such as consulting/advertising all seem to get married, knock out a kid or two, then want a divorce so they can live like Sex and the City.

- Nurses - great, fun girls, well-balanced in terms of work/family, but I don't trust them worth a shite from whoring around at the hospital/clinic. Teachers seem to be a more trustworthy version of nurses. Sure, you're going to have deal with someone who is a little catty, lives life through facebook and whines about how summer vacation is too short, but that's not too bad.

I've married plenty of them. But I'm a priest, though.

In the name of the father, and of the son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Hyperbole much?

I'm married to a teacher, albeit an elementary school teacher. The last thing she wants is to be around school after the school day is over.

Not only did I marry a teacher, I too was a teacher. She retired with 32 years and I with 36.

I don't know what teachers are in your subject group, but I've never been friends with any teachers who became teachers for economic gain. In many instances, they did so because they had teachers in their extended family tree and valued it a as profession.

Tbh. The artsy, yolo types seem to be most tolerable, fun, in shape, etc. But obviously not marriage material

Career women are usually a nightmare.

Younger women under 26 are usually the most enjoyable regardless of career/job.

No, but not because of the reason you mentioned. Teaching is a transitional class profession between low class and middle class. I'm better than that

I'm a teacher as well. And I'm a guy. Not sure why teachers get a bad rep on here. I make enough money to support me and my fiancé, she's still in college and it's my second year. I thoroughly enjoy my job. Am I gonna get rich? No but I do have a nice retirement building and good health benefits. I'd rather be teaching in a classroom than breaking my back in the sun. I also coach football. I have no huge ego. I enjoy my job and the impact I leave on kids. Kids that start off unsure about me, but always come back to tell me they missed my class and that I helped them. Do I do it to gloat? No. Those kids are the reason I teach, watching them grow is a blessing. So please back off my profession.

The profession seems to have become a group that is uber liberal, with teachers unions fighting every effort to make a better educational system, prioritizes indoctrination over education, endorses and pushes for government as a parent, and the incidence of lewd behavior with kids has grown to disturbing levels. I believe respect for the profession is at an all time low.

So, no way. Not ever.

I've only ever dated girls who were teachers, became teachers, or bartenders.

They are batshit crazy but do butt stuff.

Give and take.
