Vanderbilt is one of those schools I wish someone had told me about, or taken me to, as a freshmen or sophomore in high school. Before I doomed myself to LSU with shitty grades. But I had dumb parents and a guidance counselor shared with 1800 others.

Who am I kidding, I would have failed out after one semester.

All of my friends are making close to 100k. We're talking mid 20's. A&M isn't in the same category as Vanderbilt but there's a lot of potential.

I hate A&M, but if i was going into engineering I'd probably pick it over Vandy

I'm an engineer, if presented this choice when I was choosing college.....I'd have chosen a different career and went to Vandy.

Tougher choice than I thought, but leaning towards Vandy all else being equal.

Both are excellent schools though. Much respect for A&M.
