Went to a friends house to check it out (he just got it) and he spent the whole time fixing stuff and using the bathroom.

Did he invite you for tea and crumpets or to help him fix his house?

I would consider it rude if a friend showed up at my newly bought house and he expected me to stop my sweat equity in my new home just to entertain him.

I think expecting this the guest is being rude.

When he fixed stuff, was it gay leather apparel?

In the bathroom, did he use an enema?

Maybe he was more welcoming than you originally thought?

I've been helping my sister move into her new house and helping fix stuff up and get it ready for them to actually live there.

If one of their or my friends showed up and got pissy because I didn't drop all the shite I was doing to get the house set up and show them the door with a lovely "frick off"

Did he invite you over or did you just show up?

You could have also been a friend and helped him fix stuff up
