No. I can survive off the land

Regardless of whether it's the Christian Rapture or just the US government doing it I would never get anything like that implanted in me.

I despise tyranny

If you refuse the "mark", youll be arrested and sent to concentration camps or perhaps FEMA camps. If you go on the run, you'll eventually be caught and executed...a slow torturous death.

Let me get this straight. OP asks this question...

quote:

Would you accept the Mark of the Beast to feed your family and purchase supplies

And you think he said nothing about the bible or eternal damnation?

It's two-thousand and fricking fourteen in the most technologically and scientifically advanced society the world has ever known and we're genuinely discussing not IF the mark of the antichrist will be a real thing, we're discussing what exactly it will be.

Absolutely unfathomable.

You really did do a number on your brain with those years of hard drug abuse, didn't you? I know you try to be a witty troll but you just come across as a mouth breathing trashy idiot.

This is why I love TD.

No, I'm not married nor do I have any children. It would be my chance to finally live out a red dawn type of fantasy too. So there's that.

This thread needs this

And a little Iron Maiden

no shite.

not to mention that every single person that said "no" carries multiple pieces of magnet-infused plastic full of personally identifiable information that makes purchasing goods and services easier than it has been at any other point in history.

What if it's a mistranslation and it's something like "Mark of the bees"?

I believe most are missing the point. I think, and I may be wrong, but he's asking if one would submit to eternal damnation to feed their family.

It just blows my mind. In everyday life, its easy to forget that people still believe things like this because they are perfectly normal and rational in every other aspect of their lives. Stranger still, they'll laugh off the claims of Islam, Mormonism, Hinduism, etc as silly superstitions...and then seemlessly transition into a conversation about how big the fish that swallowed Jonah was.

Eh, to each their own, unless they try to legislate it or make me do something.
