The newly remodeled McDonald’s on Paris’ Avenue des Champs-Élysées is the fast food company’s most successful location in the world.

That's what happens to stores that aren't located in the hood and have decent clientele

Ice cream machine still doesn't work.

Looks cool except for those nets(?) that make it look like chain link fences at a construction site.

That's because it's not in the US. I went to one in Prague and the people are legitimately working it as an actual job. They take it seriously. It's a much more pleasant experience.

No, they're French.

I walked by this in November and kind of glanced in out of morbid curiousity sake, and they were doing renovations. I did not eat at McDonald's in Paris, though.

I can't wait for those machines (right) to come here so we can replace the idiotic people taking my order.

It is like that all over Europe. Went to one in Czech Republic and was blown away. It might also help that they aren't all over the place in Europe.

We might have been to the same one

Posted on 3/11/16 at 10:47 am to RedRifle
Do they serve Royales with Cheese?
Posted on 3/11/16 at 10:50 am to RedRifle

Pretty much.
If McDonalds paid employees something as paltry as ~$24,000 for full-time, we'd see a much better group of workers on board.
