Then they're going down. I recall back in 06-08 they were at 180 plus per sq ft

If you want that "Classic" property design for your $350K, look at the subdivision next to Woodridge. Briarwood is the name I believe.

There are some beautiful homes built in the 80's on great sized lots.

Father in Law just sold his house in there. Each of his neighbor's houses have unique designs with great architectural detail.

FWIW I never had an issue leaving Woodridge via Pecue or Airline (thru Briarwood)

Could be the newer section in the back. Houses are not as big so price per sqft is a little lower.

WoodRidge is full of nurses and cops. The houses are cool inside but the owners don't want big yards to keep up. My buddy lives in there and he has a huge waterfall an koi pond. His back yard is like a resort.

I had no idea there was another way out of there. That makes it much better in my eyes.

What a monstrosity of an unappealing development. Barely half acre lots, McMansion type construction for over $180 per square foot. No thanks.

At least it's not Section 8.

I grew up in Briarwood from 1987- 2000 when I moved out of my parents house. I absolutely loves it there and actually have looked into buying a house there myself. My parents still live there but it was awesome growing up back then with the cow pasture behind our house. We still had everything youd need living in a city but had a country feel to it. Hell before the TELCO Bank or Price Leblanc was built, people would go hunting up front. And if you left early enough in thr mornings there was a good chance youd have to stop for a deer running across the street. The yards were also big enough to play baseball or football in since they were all at least half an acre lots. Hard to find that mixture these days...
