And once he sees someone else's property, are you suggesting he steal it?

Just ask them at Lowes and they will typically give you some the only ones they care about are the quickcrete ones because they have to pay for those, or they did when I worked there from 03-06

No, I'm just suggesting there will be some back there. He's on his own after that.

We've all done it for bon fires, or art projects for the old lady, but I've heard some horror stories about people getting the cops called on them and getting in trouble for theft as well as being banned from the store.

Actually, Wally world will give you all the wooden pallets you want. But don't take the Chep pallets or any made of plastic. Those frickers are expensive (relatively speaking).

I steal the wooden ones for hay storage regularly and WM doesn't seem to care about my thievery.

If you're ever around Morgan City, we typically have atleast 50 or so to give away.

some stores like home depot, walmart, lowes will give them, but some stores also sell them back to someone, so you might want to ask first

I have good luck at a couple of sod/landscape companies nearby my place. They allow me to take the broken ones, which are quite plentiful

Building a wood shed?

Ask any receiver at grocery stores, they typically have them coming out of their ears.
