You can't do this.
By continuing to do this, you are still in a pseudo relationship with them. You are sending the signal to them and to yourself to an extent that you may get back together in the future.
They are EX'S for a reason. It didn't work out for whatever reason. Move on.

A lot of my ex's and I share a good amount of friends..makes it easier if a group gets together and an ex is there..
Don't get me wrong, I don't include current SOs in a group outing where I know an ex will be.
