Women's professional golfer Stacy Lewis wins and donates entire $195,000 to Houston relief

She lives in Houston (Woodlands).
After committing to donate all her winnings this week prior to the tournament start, she wins it. That's what you call clutch.
And her sponsor KMPG is matching the donation.

Not certain, but something tells me she has a good financial background. Woodlands isn't a poor area exactly. Still shouldn't take away from her extremely generous act.

I never understood this line of thought. She deducts it and saves 25-35 percent of it on her tax bill. She is still out 65-75 percent of the money.
