Women who don't take the husbands last name?

What's the deal with these women who refuse to take on their husbands family name? I've been hearing a couple accounts of this lately and was all WTF. I had a woman tell me it's better not to because their credit takes a hit due to the name change. Any truth to that?

Unless they're famous movie stars, then I thank them for not fricking up their imdb page

I actually really don't care if my future wife takes my name or not. As long as my kids have my name, I couldn't care less.
I probably won't even bring it up.

been going on for a few decades now...I see it most frequently among women marrying for the second time. they say it just saves a ton of trouble in changing everything over...

My last name is not common. When me and my ex split, her having my last name bothered the shite out of me. I was so happy when she remarried. They should keep their names.

Who gives a frick? I would be 100% fine if a girl didn't want to take my name. It's kind of a ridiculous idea anyway.

My wife didn't take my last name. She had her own practice before we married and wanted to keep it simple. NBD to me. I got other shite I can be mad at her about.
That's small potatoes.

My wife took my last name. I'm glad she did but it wouldn't change anything if she didn't. I think either side demanding anything is retarded. It's just a name.

"I built up a career with this name"

It seems like something really meaningless but I wouldn't marry someone unless they took my last name.

If a man agrees to only have sex with one woman for the rest of his life the least she could do is change names
