They advertise everywhere that they throw their rolls. If you think there is an issue with your ability to catch those rolls, don't go there. I hope she loses this case and has to pay the restaurant's cost for this absurd law suit.

Meehan said the restaurant has had seven other similar claims against it, all of them settled out of court. When asked if he was looking for such a settlement, he said, "I'm looking for adequate compensation for my client."

If she suffered a lacerated cornea she might have a legit claim.

IF she did indeed injure her cornea as a result of a thrown roll, then she's justified in her lawsuit. One should be able to go to a restaurant (even one known for thrown rolls) and not have to worry about getting injured. I'm not sure however, exactly how an object such as a roll can cause injury to a cornea.

How does bread have the ability to lacerate anything? It can't lacerate cold butter

For four years I drove from BR to Iowa/Chicago about 4 times a year. Never once was it open when I passed. Eventually quit trying. Mad!

I have no idea why that restaurant is so popular. The food is terrible, and you can have bread thrown at you anywhere.

because by and large Americans have awful taste. Hell, a lot of people I know order hamburgers "plain" with just meat and cheese.....no veggies or condiments. Ugh.
