Her parents took her personal savings? Her phone? Her car?
By her saying that, I assume she paid for the car and phone herself? How much 'personal' savings does an 18 year old have? My guess is parents paid for and maintained the car, paid the phone and plan, and put money into a savings account for her. By that definition, none of that is hers.
Regardless of the parents, she made a choice and as an adult should deal with the consequences. Unfortunately, she learned nothing and is getting more handouts. Terrible

That decisions have consequences. I don't agree with the parents (and don't fully believe the story) but she is entitled and expects others to pay for her. She admits to getting aid and grants but wants more. She needs to get off her arse.
It also says she is still living with her parents. If they are so awful, take a break from school, get a job, and move out. She wants to be handed anything and not have life inconvenience her.
