1. She was not trying to save that boy, she was running for her own life. Not saying I blame her, that's a horrifying situation and plenty of people would look out for themselves. I guess it's good she was there, at least she can milk it now.

As for whether she was trying to save him or not it's tough to say, but if she was, she definitely wasn't trying an effective method by getting between him and the car. That's still a ton of metal that's going to bear down on him even if she is in the way.

I don't think she was trying to save him either, but anyone who could process information that fast and overcome the shock of the situation would be insane.There's not many people who could be composed enough to think of pushing the kid out of the way in that short of a time. Yeah this woman was not shielding anyone she was simply trying to get out of the way. Someone trying to make her out as a hero so the donations will start coming in. Glad they are both alive but come on people, no attempt to protect anyone. She simply tried to get out of the way herself.
