Woman gets pregnant, decides she's not going to tell the father

Just read this story a minute ago and this woman had a one night stand, got pregnant and has decided that she's not going to tell the dude he'll have a daughter. Her reasoning is because she had a bad experience with her father and because "It's my body and it's my daughter". What a massive count.

What’s more, I grew up with a father who would often belittle me. I never wanted that for my own child and I also knew that my rocky bond with my father had established a pattern for my own adult relationships

Until she needs money at which point she shall sue him for child support.
ETA: Just finished reading and it sounds like the guy is Irish. I'm no Lawyer but I have no idea if she could sue him in the US and force him to pay anything.
