Kudos to her

Her quote:

quote:

“When I heard the nasty things the women said, I honestly wanted to cry,” the Indiana native said. “It really hurt my feelings

...is where most people today would leave it in our victim culture.

Her taking the troll-offensive rather than just wallowing is worthy of some praise these days.

Sounds like they've been behind her before.

Would've been great if she threw each one of them away, one by one, in front of the lady who called her fat.

But alas, I'm sure she ate all 20.

Agreed, I like the fact she did what she did for troll respect, but I have no problem with fat shaming. Between 2nd grade and 4th grade, I got fat. Kids made fun of me. Around 5th grade I started working out and running on my own and became muscular and fit by the 6th. Sure, it could have been my newfound interest in the other sex, or my love for sports, but mostly, I think it was my peers being helpful dicks.

When you call out a fat-arse, I guarantee most of them don't have a death wish, but premature death is where they are headed, and by their own doing. Not only is it a public service to tell them they disgust you, it is also tough love to them as individuals. Maybe one heckler will be the person that lights a fire under their arse and motivates them to shed the pounds.

I mean... she paid them for their service after they insulted her

I don't see how selling your stock is trolling the baker.

She literally gave them more money for calling her fat.

Vega Blossom was waiting in line at her favorite bakery when she overheard an older woman standing behind her say “Let’s hope this fat b***h doesn’t buy all the cupcakes.”

I think she was in line and the people behind her were talking about it. Zero chance a baker would say that, the fatter the better for their carb heavy business.

She didn't pay the random customer who called her fat. The bakery workers didn't say the line.

How does this stuff become news? A random woman's random experience in some random town. How in the world does this make national news?

Stuff happens to everybody... there isn't a TV news crew there waiting to report on it. How does this random event make the national news?

Someone called her fat, so she "gets back" at them by buying all the cupcakes, which will make her MORE FAT. Smart.
