It's a busy night...

Three officers and a civilian were injured after a high-speed chase that started in St. John Parish ended in a crash in Metairie.
The officers' injuries are not life-threatening, according to St. John Sheriff Mike Tregre. The civilian, a woman, was ejected from her car. Tregre said she was alert when she was put into an ambulance.
Officers said the incident began as a domestic disturbance call. The suspect called the 911 dispatch center informing them that he was armed with a shotgun and would hurt any officer that came near him.
Responding officers found him in his vehicle on Airline Highway, chasing him to I-310 and then to I-10. The chase ended on Veterans Boulevard, where Jefferson Parish deputies caught the suspect.

So how'd the other two officers become injured?

Bruce Jenner situation or did the article leave out the woman here?

I am shocked the OT cop haters haven't piled on because even I have to wonder why they chased this guy at 110 mph.
Apparently had some unspecified argument with his woman. OK.
Has a shotgun. So does most every man in south LA.
Doesn't want anyone to come near him. Perfectly normal to want to be left alone.
This reminds me of when the police shoot the guy who is threatening suicide.

Because nobody knows the entire story and they aren't rushing to judgement?

Article is vague, but was the woman that called in the domestic disturbance the same woman ejected? If so it was reported he had a shotgun, did he put the woman in the car under gunpoint? If so then police had to persue for the woman's life

The injured woman was ejected from a different car than the suspect. Police car ran into the woman's car while chasing the suspect in an apparent accident?

I see a grammatical mistake. A period instead of ellipsis

No reason to chase the guy.
This woman was injured for nothing,
This woman was injured for nothing,

Well if you call 911 and say I'm gonna kill an officer if he comes to my house, that probably won't end well.
And if I'm not mistaken, it's actually a crime to dial 911 for non emergency things anyway so that in itself is reason to contact someone

You people are retarded. There was a history with this guy and when the cops recieve a call like this I kind of think 99% of the sane people out there would like them to respond.
I could just see the headlines if the police just decided to leave the kind and gentle man alone and then he blows the head off the woman an hour later.

I would advise officers to not go to the house.
