This popped up on my Google feed this AM....

Sportkeeda.com

quote:

The Wisconsin State Fair is famous for its rides, delicious food, and drinks......American citizens were outraged by the use of the term as it is a derogatory slur used to insult African-Americans, according to Milwaukee Journal Sentinal.

I know the rules, but couldn't post pic of Cow.
Edit: Added Pic of Cow from my computer...

You left out the best part.

Can we just get a definitive list.

Since, you know, it's only a few

Words are so scary. They probably are responsible for 53% of our Nation’s violent crime. Shame on bad words.

Or, and I'm just throwing this out there...rather than have an ever expanding, always changing list of words that are off limits for some, but not others, why not just tell everyone to grow the frick up and to get over it, because it's just words?

This is what gives any of these words power...making them taboo. Quit with this nonsense and you take all the power away, and the desire to use them...because they're no longer taboo.

No they weren’t.

Only a handful of racist, liberals were “outraged”, but then again, that is what they live for.

One wonders if Jigamoo would have also be verboten.

Not the same word.
I'm sure they'd be quick to say that it wasn't acceptable either.

Why do some people get to determine what an acceptable name for a Wisconsin cow is?

How would the people who have an issue with this feel if some dairy farmer came down and told them they couldn't name their pit bull "Cracker Eater" and their child "Murdalicious"?

Remember when the black student union at some school came up with a list of a huge number of slurs for white people?

The only offense I took was that they put virtually no effort into it.

Or, maybe, let all words be free for use.

People have to choose to take offense.
