Why does the NWS use all caps and make their transcripts so hard to read? really hurts my dyslexia

Ain't nobody got time fa snow

This is very aggressive for them. I don't recall a time recently when they did this with winter storms.

Medic- where'd ya find that?! Not up on NWS site yet

You know they'll err on the side of caution this time and be liberal with the forecast .. That egg didn't taste too good on their faces last week ..

The NWS did extremely well for the last event, minus the total time of precipitation. Winter precip was in the forecast for 2-3 days prior. The local news mets wouldn't dare be that bold
Eta: that's without the model consensus this one has

It's one of those times where I agree with them even if it doesn't happen. Too many models showing solutions where huge areas of the state would receive wintery weather. I just know how difficult it is to predict these events, so you know they're trying to be careful this time.

I'm gonna be pissed if Louisiana gets snow and all we get in Houston is shitty freezing rain again.

Never thought I'd see the day where south of Baton Rouge has a better chance of frozen precipitation that north of Baron Rouge

Yeah .. I really meant the local TV forecasters more than the NWS .. They were poo poo'ing the notion as late as the 10PM news Thursday night ..
