I was raised in BR and attended LSU many years ago. I am now retired and live in the Atlanta area.
I am seriously considering coming back "home" to help those who need help to rebuild. My question is, if I come down to donate my labor....is there motel rooms or anywhere available to stay while I'm there?

I think the whole town's booked up. TV just said nearest vacancies were Lafayette and N.O.

Yes I've read that campgrounds are making extra room. I don't have locations though.

This isn't far from Baton Rouge, just for a place to sleep its not that bad of a place.
