So much mystery. I watched 'A Trip To Infinity' on Netflix today and it got me thinking.

Wormhole?

Nothing?

What say you?

Black holes are simply theoretical predictions based on Einstein's theories...

NB4 "here's a composite image of one from artists' renderings"

Haven't watched it yet, but being caught in a black hole tells me I'm getting ripped apart at a speed I may not recognize.

I don't follow. We have pics of them, as well as sounds.

Do we? I'm not trying to be facetious.

Yes, recent. In the last 2 years. It was major space news. Not artist renderings.

I'm presuming the pictures of an absence of light. So, the pictures would be of what? Black holes are typically detected by astronomical things like red shift, which is the almost absence of evidence, but the modification of light around unobservable objects.

And I drank a lot during Astronomy at LSU.

No idea. But I do remember back the 80/90s that PBS used to have a guy that looked exactly like Paul Bearer (who managed Undertaker in WWF) and he was their designated star gazing/telescope guy. If he did the Paul Bearer voice to describe the planets it’s have been $$$$

Damn, if y'all are watching this shite this late at night, you're probably my kind of weird.

Finite arithmetic + booze, only works for some.

I’m watching it now….if they had played this for me in high school, I would have been more interested in physics and calculus.
