I agree. And Baton Rouge isn't as terrible as morons on here make it out to be.
And the north shore isn't as great as this place says it is.
This site is the worst place I have ever seen for horrible stereotypes. It's a weird kind of echo chamber you don't see in real life.

Have you ever been to Compton?
I went to Compton dozens of times when I was in my early 20s. I was a white boy driving a brand new Lexus SUV wearing a suit and going to meet random people in neighborhoods I had never been to before and I never felt unsafe even for a second. I also used to get lunch in Inglewood at least once a week and also spent a lot of days in South Central all with zero issues. L.A. ghettos get a bad rep but from my experience, mostly in the early 2000s, they weren't bad at all.

Couple that with the fact that many posters here think they have the voice of America.

I am being serious when I tell you Compton has some nice areas and isn't hood at all. I am sure it was horrible in the 80s but its decent now and most homes are at least 300k.

I think I'm losing my hand-eye coordination because I've been fricking up a lot of words lately.

Well no shite but the houses aren't free and you can't afford 300k anywhere unless you have some cash. Seriously Compton isn't a bad area, maybe bad for Cali but its totally safe and the average home value is like twice as much as BR.

Our research reveals the 100 most dangerous cities in America with 25,000 or more people, based on the number of violent crimes per 1,000 residents. Violent crimes include murder, rape, armed robbery, and aggravated assault. Data used for this research are 1) the number of violent crimes reported to the FBI to have occurred in each city, and 2) the population of each city.

If WS did, in fact, hit this guy and ran off; and, if true, about the first 911 call after the accident a ask true; I'm not a lawyer; but I still don't see how he could get off with self defense plea. WS was shot in th back.
Also, was WS unarmed?

That is the key phrase, the ghetto areas in N.O. have a "stop snitching" policy while Compton is mostly working class people. Besides I wasn't comparing Compton to ALL of N.O., I was saying it wasn't that bad of an area. Compare Compton to the 7th Ward if you want to try do apples to apples, even though it wont be right on since people in the 7th ward don't like to call cops.

You really think the black people in Compton are that much different than the black people in Nola? Come on.
The median income in Compton 3 years ago was under 15k. Its a poor area. Its the equivalent of the shithole areas of Nola

Wait wut?
There isn't ANYWHERE in the city I wouldn't walk through alone with my shirt off in broad day light. It is not THAT bad.... My normal jogging route is through central city past the old melp highrise
And I'd ride my bike ANYWHERE in the city at 3am.
People are pussies

Youd walk through Holly Grove at 10 pm on a Friday night?
I dont believe you.

Yes I do
Actually the average household income from 2009=2013 was $42,000 which is higher than the average of ALL of Orleans Parish in that time frame. So its richer than N.O., not just the shitty areas.
