IMO people should be required to learn how to swim. If it were me in that lake, the swan would have been in a fight to the death with me (triathlon/mass swim starts).

That sucks.
I, like all the other bad asses in here, would have fought it to the death. Howevr, I think a lot of you fail to realize how big, vicious, and territorial they are. Then, give it the home field advantage of water. Okay now you are in a panic... it's over before you really realized what was going on.
