I don't think they're necessarily attracted to "chauvinist men", but rather someone that has a traditional male role attitude - protector, provider, etc.
I think when you take that away, it's generally a turnoff for women. Except for the ones that have a completely domineering attitude. I think they see that as a weakness they can exploit for their benefit.

Men have a subconscious need to have sandwiches made for them.
Women have a subconscious need to make sandwiches for men.
Disrupting this pattern is not natural hence why beta men and feminist are rejected.

It's not very hard to be a man and go watch a football game, throw back some beers, have a good time with everyone, then open car door for your girl on the way out. You can be both. That's what women like.

The rules of English are not nearly as rigid as most people are taught in school. I would caution you against using 'why're' in any formal speech or writing, but colloquially, there's nothing wrong with the word.

A lot to do with the science of physical attraction if I had to guess
And even if a feminist is physically attractive any guy that can pull an attractive woman is going to find one that isn't level 9 hot mess and a pain in the arse.
