I'm pretty sure nobody has ever been stopped by a cop and told to get their bicycle off of the sidewalk and jump into traffic

I did come across two cyclists one morning on my drive to work that were insisting on riding side by side...taking up the entire lane of road and not just single file on the far right of the lane. What made this worse....that section of road is narrowed now to only one lane because of current construction....so you couldn't go around them until you passed the construction. So you are stuck behind them for about half a mile.
Now those guys are assholes.
