Is it the Starbucks of smoothies? Or is it the same around other smoothie places?

Cheap? I don't ever recall them being cheap. Are you talking like 5-7 years ago?

The Middle East and Ukraine combined hold 80% of the world's turbinado reserves.

More instability leads to higher prices.

My advice is to look up or find out the ingredients of your favorite smoothie and make them at home. You will save lots of money.

The smoothie place at the YMCA in downtown Dallas has my favorite smoothie. It is banana, strawberries, blueberries a cup of milk, a scoop of protein and a scoop of ice. Start blending it and scoop a table spoon of peanut butter and drop it in while it is blending. Good shite right there.

Buy your own protein powder...a lot cheaper in the long run. Plus homemade smoothies/shakes don't have the amount of sugar and fake ingredients that SK uses.

Because Bill Romanowski wants to rip your fricking head off and then make your brain into a smoothie.
